noun

  1. A person aged over 50 who lives their life on their own terms.

  2. Someone who proclaims “I’m not done yet!”.

NOT DONE YET? NEITHER ARE WE.

People in their fifties and sixties today are not following the old script. We grew up through big cultural and working changes, and life stopped being one straight path. There is no clear rulebook for what this stage should look like now.

Many of us are not slowing down. We are reshaping, mixing purpose with income, trying new things, and letting go of what no longer fits. That is what it means to be an INDY, someone who feels I’m Not Done Yet.

I’m Not Done Yet is for people who want to stay useful, engaged, and purposeful as life moves on, with ideas, support, and practical encouragement to help make life after fifty active and rewarding.

Embracing Potential: I'm Not Done Yet

"I'm Not Done Yet" is a community that supports business professionals aged 50 and above. It's all about empowering people in this age group to keep pursuing their goals and dreams, regardless of what society might say about age.

We offer resources, mentorship, and a place where members can connect, share stories, and help each other out.

We aim to celebrate the wisdom and experience that comes with age, showing that there's still so much potential to thrive and make a difference.

Our seven guiding principles

  1. Purposeful Living
Life after 50 is an opportunity to reset, explore passions, and discover new ways to stay relevant and fulfilled.

  2. Community and Connection
INDY fosters a supportive network where members connect, collaborate, and help each other thrive.

  3. Challenging Ageism
We confront stereotypes and promote the value, skills, and experience that come with age.

  4. Continuous Growth
Learning and personal development don’t stop. We encourage curiosity, self-improvement, and embracing change.

  5. Empowerment through Action
We believe in taking proactive steps toward meaningful goals, whether in work, volunteering, or personal pursuits.

  6. Resilience and Adaptability
Life’s challenges are met with resilience, optimism, and the flexibility to adapt to new circumstances.

  7. Enjoyment and Contribution
Life should be enjoyable, and we believe in contributing positively — to ourselves, our community, and society.

These principles reflect INDY's mission to help individuals over 50 lead purposeful, connected, and vibrant lives.

I’m Not Done Yet - are you?

Nearly seven out of 10 people aged over 50 say the traditional concept of retirement is no more in the UK.
